Regional Sales Manager - North Europe


Our client, Olmix/ Aroma-Celte  is a subsidiary of the Human Care Division of the Olmix Group and is specialized producer and supplier of pharmaceutical,  nutritional and dietary supplements combining essential oils and seaweed. Through its specialist divisions, The Olmix Group promotes a comprehensive, healthy food chain by improving plant, animal and human nutrition based on an innovative technology using the application of the natural substances of Algae and seaweed. and

Through the acquisition of Aroma Celte, the Olmix Human Care Division  will boost the development of its business in its dietary supplements based on green, red and brown algae and seaweed. This division meets consumer demand for natural products to reduce the use of antibiotics and chemical additives or molecules and  thus offering a strong prospect for environmentally friendly economic developments worldwide. For building and developing  this business of AromaCelte and its distribution networks in Northern Europe,  we are looking for a:

 Regional Sales Manager  - North Europe

The sales manager wil have its primary focus on new business development of Aroma Celt products in the Netherlands, Germany and Scandinavia through dealing with pharmacy accounts, pharmacy distributors and drugstore chains. In addition he/she will in the near future become responsible for a team nutritionists detailing products and advising pharmaceutical customers. The regional sales manager will establish, maintain and strengthen the relationships with distributors and partners in human care and nutritional supplements. He or she will be involved in building a solid sales organization, which will be overall responsible for developing regional sales.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
- identify sales partners (distributors and pharmacy groups and chains).
- plan and develop the commercial objectives, sales planning and overall results  of 
  the regional business. 
- implement a sales & marketing strategy through distributors and local partners.
- building and maintaining relationships with existing and new sales partners.
- help to build a local sales and pharmacy detailing organization.
- develop new markets and contracting new distribution partners in the region.
- develop a solid base for sales terms, price and margin levels.
- participate in international congresses, fairs and exhibitions.
- travel frequency is around 60-50%.

Position requirements:
- having a degree on either Bachelor or Masters level in business
  and/or marketing, preferably in addition with a nutritional or pharmaceutical background
- fluent in Dutch and English and preferably any other major language (German).
- having worked a minimum of 5 years in international sales/ marketing in the OTC /
   nutritional supplements or pharmaceutical (ingredients business).

Profile of the ideal candidate:

-  hands-on and pro-active.
-  strong in communication and negotiation.
-  self-starting, but can also act as a team player.
-  has a management potential as team leader

Additional information:
- Your office will be at first located the Netherlands (Velp) at Melspring  (subsidiary of Olmix).
- You will report directly to the Global director Human Care at Olmix and also to local Director.
- Remuneration is based on the sales position as mentioned.
  (and not  based on a management position)
